We went to the airport and
waited for one hour in the Cip Lounge which has some basic necessities at
Karachi Airport, as it was Business Class in Thai Air so I was expecting some
comfort in our 5 hours flight which was somewhat fulfilled. They gave us an Ipad
to watch movies the food was also not bad I ordered chicken and it was halal as
the flight was coming from Qatar. We had
a one hour connecting flight to Phuket from Bangkok so we reached our
destination after approx 9 hours. I booked a Villa in Centara Grand Resort
which my brother changed to a penthouse as it was far from the main reception
and the water park which was in the hotel premises by the name Jungle Splash.
We enjoyed our first day there the water park was wonderful. It have a wave
Island, a lazy river, bowarang and other slides, we had a lot of fun. It was
free for the people who are staying in that hotel but for others it was 1200 baht
per head. There was private pool in our penthouse too so there was a lot to do
in our resort in Phuket, at night we enjoyed some local food near our hotel
where we ordered barbecued chicken and some fish, some vegetables and boiled
rice, we insisted on cooking it in vegetable oil as pork oil is also used so
you have to be careful before giving your order.

Good description, good picture. I enjoyed reading it. These places seem better than I visited recently i.e. Phi Phi Island and another (difficult to recall the name).
ReplyDeleteThank you Hafeez sahab actually I went to the Northern Islands i.e James Bond and Phang Nga Bay tour while Phi Phi and Maya Bay are on the southern side so will explore them next time.
